Landmark Graphics needed to build a tool that would help managers understand which
uncertainties and decisions have the greatest impact on profitability, with the
end goal of directing resources toward reducing those uncertainties. Powersim created
a Reservoir Scenario Planning Simulation application that allows managers to select
several different scenarios and decisions. It then displays the business results
for each combination of scenario and decision on the same screen.
